Your role as Business Unit Manager

As Business Unit Manager you will be responsible for our BU Copy & Innovate, this department focuses on developing applications for our customers using our in-house built low code development platform. The development department is divided over our offices in the Netherlands, Romania, and in the near future Emirates. You’ll travel regularly to our offices in Romania and Emirates (Post-Covid).

As a member of the management team you will collectively determine the direction of Codeless. You are responsible for the realization of the objectives of Development, such as efficiently delivering high standard software. You ensure the optimization and continuous development for both employees and processes. You are responsible and accountable for the following topics:

  • Create, align and implement policy and goals for the department;
  • Develop and optimize processes, in order improve and maintain quality, efficiency, and (boost) productivity;
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders (up to Director and C-Level) such as aligning with the customer about deliverables;
  • Coach and actively improve the employees within the BU;
  • Executes HR-related activities in order to achieve quantitative and qualitative staffing, such as staff training, administration, and personnel planning.

Job requirements

We’re in search of a leader, someone who inspires and guide their employees. You have experience in building solid teams, and a great place to work environment. Furthermore you have;

  • 15 years of experience in the IT industry, managerial experience is a preference;
  • Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or other related study;
  • Well versed in the software development projects or relevant complex ERP implementation projects;
  • Proven experience in establishing, communicating, implementing, and monitoring departmental milestones and goals;
  • Strong focus on improving people and teams. Solid interpersonal understanding;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (CEFR C-level), verbal and written.

It would be a perfect fit if you are well known with Low Code Development and have worked in the logistic industry.
