Job description

At Codeless, we’re investing heavily in AI, which is why we are expanding our AI team. As Prompt Engineer, you will determine how large language models behave within our environment. You will create smart instructions and test them thoroughly to ensure that the output is accurate, relevant, and straightforward.

 

You will contribute to use cases such as building our own AI Copilot and experimenting with model integration to describe software using natural language. Your work will involve setting up proof-of-concepts, working with agent-based architectures, and supporting command line interface usage.

 

Your tasks include:

  • Writing prompts and crafting structured instructions for models such as ChatGPT

  • Feeding AI models with the right documentation, context, and data

  • Reviewing and improving outputs while eliminating hallucinations

  • Testing and refining AI performance to ensure consistent behavior

  • Researching new models and proposing improvements to our AI setup

  • Advising on what tools, models, or technologies fit best for a given use case

  • Exploring agent orchestration and language model behavior

 

You will not be responsible for integrating your work into the platform, although having an interest in this area is a plus.

Job requirements

We are looking for someone who thrives on exploring new tools, testing ideas, and pushing AI models to deliver consistent, meaningful output. You are structured, curious, and hands-on. You understand how language models behave, and you enjoy making them work exactly the way you intend.

  • Proven experience prompting and instructing large language models like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini

  • Strong interest in and knowledge about AI, natural language models, and agent orchestration

  • Confidence to advise which LLM and AI tools to use, based on the context and purpose of the use case

  • The ability to identify and prevent hallucinations and steer outputs effectively

  • A structured and analytical approach to testing, improving, and scaling prompt setups

  • Basic programming and API skills, preferably with experience in languages like C#, Python, or Java

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Fluency in English

  • You reside in the Philippines
